Guidelines for the STSMs

Short-term scientific missions (STSM) are exchange visits between researchers involved in a COST Action, allowing scientists to visit an institution or laboratory in another COST country. They are aimed at fostering collaboration, sharing new techniques and infrastructure that may not be available in other participants’ institutions or laboratories. STSM are intended especially for young researchers. [from COST website]

The COST Action has budget available for some additional STSMs to be carried out between the beginning of February and the end of April 2017. Please note that every proposal for an STSM should clearly indicate how it will contribute with its expected output to the deliverables of a Working Group of this Action. You can always contact the STSM-coordinator, Prof. Lars De Laet, before submitting an application for an STSM.

Please follow this link to apply for a Short-term scientific mission (link opens in new window – an e-COST profile is required and can be created if needed).

All detailed information can be found on page 38 of the COST Vademecum.
